Soft2Bet's ToonieBet brand has revealed a collaboration with the Ottawa Senators, making the igaming platform the Official Online Casino Partner of the NHL franchise.
Canadian hockey: Senators an Emerging Youthful NHL Team
The moment to deliver this announcement is ideal. There is a great deal of enthusiasm surrounding the Senators at present, including from a wagering viewpoint.
The squad boasts several of the NHL's thrilling young talents – spearheaded by Brady Tkachuk, Jake Sanderson, and Tim Stutzle.
The intense and spirited matchup last night at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa between the cross-province rivals Montreal Canadiens and Senators ended with the Senators winning 5-2, highlighted by multiple fights, serving as a prime illustration of some of the thrilling NHL storylines that will unfold during the playoffs beginning next week, as well as in the upcoming regular season and beyond.
The Canadiens recently acquired top draft selection Ivan Demidov from Russia to add to their lineup, which, similar to the Senators, features several of the NHL’s top emerging talents – Cole Caulfield, Nick Suzuki, and Lane Hutson, to name a few.
In-Arena Engagements
Both teams were considered unlikely to reach the playoffs as the NHL season began. As of this morning, with only three games remaining for each, both teams are in – the Senators at seventh in the Eastern Conference and the Canadiens holding the eighth and final playoff position.
Thus, ToonieBet connects their cart to all of this.
"Partnering Soft2Bet’s ToonieBet brand with the Ottawa Senators is a significant milestone that reinforces our strong brand presence in Ontario,” said Oksana Tsyhankova, Chief Marketing Officer at Soft2Bet. “In a short period, we have achieved impressive performance and retention results, with a primary focus on localised, engaging experiences for Canadian players, which makes ToonieBet truly set itself apart.”
NHL Playoffs Coming Next Week
ToonieBet is a new Canadian gaming brand set to launch in 2024. Soft2Bet is a provider of turnkey solutions for B2B igaming, holding 19 international licenses, including one from Ontario.
Key aspects of the collaboration feature in-arena branding (enhanced digital dashboards) and on-air branding, virtual slot advertising for multiple games, digital placements across the Senators' NHL.com site, and direct fan interaction (social contests and promotions organized on the Senators' digital channels).
“Cooperating with a brand that shares our commitment to providing fans with an exceptional and trusted experience is incredibly exciting,” said Martin Ballard, VP Corporate Partnerships, Ottawa Senators. “Together, we look forward to delivering memorable moments and engaging our passionate fanbase in new and innovative ways.”
